Supports the Director General in strategic planning and cross-departmental coordination. Maintains verified backup access credentials and stands ready to assume the Director General's duties without delay in case of vacancy or incapacity.

Maintains accurate, complete, and unaltered records of all society proceedings. Prepares and distributes minutes of Executive Board and General Assembly meetings within a week, and protects the confidentiality of all records.

Assists the Chancellor of Communications and Records with day-to-day documentation and correspondence, and is ready to step into the role during any vacancy or incapacity.

Maintains accurate, current, and auditable financial records. Presents quarterly financial reports to the Executive Board and a fully audited financial statement at the Annual General Meeting, and reports any financial irregularities immediately.

Maintains a real-time overview of all ongoing activities, projects, and communications across departments. Ensures timely information flow between the Executive Board, department heads, and general membership, and acts as a neutral coordinating party between departments.

Oversees all public-facing and broadcast material issued in the society's name, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness. Plans and executes media and outreach campaigns, coordinating with the Chancellor of Grid on digital publishing, and seeks prior approval before releasing sensitive or reputationally significant content.

Oversees the planning, execution, and timely delivery of all approved projects and initiatives. Reports project status, risks, and timelines regularly to the Executive Board, and ensures no project proceeds without proper Board approval.

Plans and executes all events and functions hosted by the society in line with its vision and mission. Ensures the safety and wellbeing of participants and volunteers, and reports on the outcome, including revenue, expenses, and any incidents of each event.

Manages external projects and partnerships, keeping project plans, budgets, and status reports for each. Reports monthly on the status of external initiatives, ensures they stay within budget and align with the society's mission, and maintains fair, transparent communication with external parties.
